Children between 6 weeks and 18 months are cared for in the infant room. The very loving and attentive infant teachers base their lesson plans on “Great Beginnings: An Infant Activity Curriculum” by Donna Locke. This curriculum covers such things as the senses, gross and fine motor skills, cognitive development, and audio/visual stimulants.
Toddler Classrooms:Our toddler room cares for children 18 to 36 months. The toddler teachers are very energetic and caring. If weather permits, the toddlers have outdoor time every day, either through a cart ride or on the playground. Through play, the toddlers also learn self-help skills, body part identification, shapes, colors, and a variety of other things.
Pre- K Classrooms:Our 3-5 year olds attend the Pre-K classroom where supportive and devoted teachers provide a structured environment where children begin to prepare for kindergarten. The children will be encouraged to learn the letters of the alphabet, recognize and write them. They continue to master self-help skills while learning to work and play cooperatively with their classmates.
